Ken & Rick’s Baked Brie with Somerset Sweet Onion & Garlic Jam

What you need:
1 sheet of (thawed) puff pastry
1 round package of brie
1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds
3 ounces Somerset Sweet Onion & Garlic Jam

What you need to do:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Lightly grease a flat baking sheet.
3. Spread the puff pastry flat so that it’s big enough to wrap the brie
(or, roll to about 1/8 inch)
4. Cut the brie in half round-ways, so you have two round pieces
(rind is edible; leave it on).
5. Place one round piece on top of the puff pastry rind side down.
6. Spoon Jam atop this brie piece and sprinkle almonds atop Jam.
7. Place the other round piece of brie atop this piece rind side up.
8. Wrap pastry around the brie and put it on the baking sheet smooth side down.
9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until puff pastry is golden brown.
10. Let cool for five minutes before serving with your favorite crackers.

Note: If you are pressed for time, omit step 4, cutting the brie into two pieces. Put the whole round of brie onto the puff pastry; spoon Jam on top of uncut brie and sprinkle almonds on top of Jam. Then follow steps 8 through 10 to wrap, bake, and serve.
